Sunrise Creates Bob Ross Worthy Skies Over Daviess County [PHOTOS}

Most days, I wake up when the birds start to chirp. It's also still dark whenever I leave my house and head to the studio. This morning it was sprinkling and super chilly, but those conditions set us up for a pretty amazing sunrise.

Daviess County Fiscal Court shared these stunning photos of the golden sky that opened up before the clouds took over.

Some people believe that a golden sunrise represents hope, enlightenment, a fresh start, or a new beginning. Whatever the beautiful colors and reflections of light mean to you, I think we can all agree mother nature was truly showing off today!

Because the day started with rain and moisture in the air, when the sun came up, her light bouncing off the droplets created some incredible rainbows! While I enjoyed the gorgeous hues of the sky through the studio windows, I missed the main event. Luckily, folks from all over the county captured this natural phenomenon on camera.
