Shadow is a Friendly Adoptable Dog in Warrick County That Needs a Fun Family!
WHS PET OF THE WEEK: SHADOW
Just like his name indicates, Shadow needs a person or a family to follow around and just be the best boy. He is a 1.5-year-old lab/pit mix and has a sweet personality. He is good with most other dogs but isn't a fan of those stankin' CATS! (His words, not mine.)
Shadow is a cutie with a black and white coat and is learning all his manners but will take a patient family who can show him the ropes.

POCUS
Our pet of the week from last week is still available as well. Meet Pocus.
Her name is Pocus and she's as sweet as she can be. The shelter staff told me she was a wildling when she came in but she gets better every day. And as you can tell by the video, she thinks hoomans are mainly for scratching and rubbing on her. What a princess!

LOCKE
And our pet of the week from earlier this month is still available too if you are looking for a good boy. Yes, the goodest boy!
Hey y'all! I'm Locke! If there's one thing you should know about me it's that I LOVE TOYS. I CAN'T GET ENOUGH TOYS. TOYS ARE MY FAVORITEST THINGS IN THE WHOLE WORLD - besides my people.
Here's what my people have to say about me!

If you are interested in any of the animals up for adoption at the WHS, please be aware of their current COVID-19 policies.
- Adoptions are by appointment only - please fill out an adoption application online, and we will contact you to set up an appointment. Applications can be found here: https://warrickhumanesociety.org/adoption-info/
- We will schedule three adoption appointments per hour, and only two people per family/group will be allowed in the shelter at one time. This will allow for people to spend time looking for the right pet while practicing social distancing. Additional people/family members will be allowed to wait outside and the pet (dogs only) can be taken out to meet with them. This will also allow ample time for staff to properly clean between each adoption.
- To keep traffic to a minimum, we will not be allowing volunteers inside the shelter at this time. We will have things for volunteers to do outside. If you're interested, please email volunteerwarrick@gmail.com.
- Warrick Tails on Trails has started up again! Please watch their Facebook page for details!
