Puzzle Pieces Celebrates Its 8th Anniversary with $8000 Fundraiser

Today is a very special day for Puzzle Pieces and its founder Amanda Owen.  September 4th, 2020 marks the non-profit's 8th anniversary.  Amanda joined Angel and me on the WBKR morning show earlier to chat about Puzzle Pieces and the incredible strides the agency has made since its founding.

To celebrate this milestone, Puzzle Pieces is hoping to raise $8000 in a single day!  During a year when COVID-19 abruptly changed the course of day-to-day operations at the Puzzle Pieces campus, this $8000 will give the agency a much-needed financial boost.

This morning on social media, Amanda Owen shared her reflections and details on how YOU can help join today's celebration.

In addition to serving nearly 170 clients, Puzzle Pieces has reached beyond its own doors to greatly impact the community as a whole.  Puzzle Pieces has created signature fundraising events here in Owensboro/Daviess County.  Those events include the Color Blast 5K, which is the largest 5K event annually here in town, and the Lip Sync Battle, which has become one of our city's most attended and popular fundraisers.
