Earlier this week we told you the story of Mason Bogard, a student at Reitz High School who passed away after a tragic accident at his home. Mason was attempting the 'choking challenge' which he had seen online when things went horribly wrong.

Mason's parents made the decision to donate his organs. After several days of waiting and testing and getting things in order, the time came for the Bogard family to say goodbye to Mason. They were joined by scores of hospital staff members who honored Mason on his way to surgery.

Those powerful, emotional, heartbreaking moments were captured on video, and we're so appreciative of the Bogard family for sharing the footage of Mason's 'honor walk.'

Doctors confirmed that Mason's organs saved the lives of five other patients.
