Parts of US 60 By-Pass and Other Owensboro Roads are Closed Due to Ice and Accidents [UPDATE: Roadway Open]

As of 7:40 AM, several Owensboro and surrounding area roads are the severely dangerous.

According to Eyewitness News,  "Salt trucks were called out just before 7:00 AM to hit the major road again. As many as four crashes were reported on the By-Pass at one time, completely stopping traffic between Highway 231 and the Natcher Parkway around 6:30 AM."

But the KSP is reporting that there have been about ten wrecks on the By-Pass.
