Angel here and y'all this is absolutely not a drill.  I got word a little earlier this week that the Owensboro Peddlers Mall is putting all the plans in place to open their doors very soon.

The Owensboro Peddlers Mall has been closed since March 23.  They are finally to a place where they feel like they are ready to open back up.

I talked with Holly the Mall Manager about the precautions and guidelines they have in place to make sure the customers and vendors are safe and here is what she had to say;

We are currently preparing to install plexiglass shields in front of our counter spaces, and our registers are all 6 ft apart also. We are setting up floor guidelines for lines and stickers for the floor to remind customers to stay apart. We are limiting contacts for employees and limiting the number of people in the building at one time and having an IN and OUT door. Plus our staff is being provided with masks and gloves in abundance, and we are setting up specific protocols for extensively cleaning carts, flatbeds, and work paces. I’ve been spending the last few weeks teaching the staff about proper PPE use and cross-contamination so we can keep the customers and staff as safe as possible.

The Peddlers Mall will open back up for business on Wednesday, May 20, at 10 a.m.

As you all know I am a thrift and bargain shopper.  I always find unique items when I go and look around.  Our family even has two booths at Peddlers.

It is one of my favorite past times just to stroll around and look.  I don't even buy half the time believe it or not.  Half the fun in visiting is just creeping on other people's stuff.
