Let's face it. You're busy and cleaning the bathtub is a pain. The good news is that it doesn't have to be anymore, and the fix is very inexpensive!

There are few things that I hate more in this world than scrubbing the bathtub. It is back-breaking, tiresome work... or at least it use to be. I had a friend tell me about this homemade bathtub cleaner she was using. When she revealed that the only two ingredients are vinegar and Dawn dish detergent, I was skeptical, but I thought I'd give it a try. I am so glad that I did! Not only is the cleaner cheap and easy to make but it's far more effective than a lot of the more expensive cleaners that I have tried in the past. I literally sprayed it on, waited a few minutes and wiped it away. My bathtub was sparkling! Even the faucets looked amazing!!! I also hear that it works great on glass shower doors too, although I haven't tried it.

Here's what you need:

  • Original Dawn Dish Detergent
  • White Vinegar
  • A Spray Bottle

Mix equal parts Dawn and white vinegar in your spray bottle. Shake to mix, and spray it on the tub. Leave it for 10-15 minutes or longer, and then wipe. That's it! Easy. If I hadn't tried it myself, I would have never believed that it would work so well.
