The coronavirus has altered the plans of several events, including the Walk to Remember with Logan's Promise originally scheduled for this Saturday at West Terrace Elementary School.

After Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb announced Thursday that a ban on all "public, non-essential gatherings of 250 people, or more," organizers got together to discuss what they should do. Despite this year's event falling on the five year anniversary of the death of the group's namesake, Logan Brown, they knew moving the event to a new day was the right thing to do in the interest of public health and safety. The decision was made a little easier after the EVSC announced it would be closing all schools for two weeks as of 5:00 p.m. Friday.

While a new date hasn't been announced, Logan's Promise founder, and father of Logan, Charles Brown, told me they are looking at a possible late-Spring date.
