It is that time of year. The bows... the wrapping... the music. When it comes to the music, there are only a handful of songs that I really love.

I have 3 all time favorite Christmas songs. Each one is special to me for a different reason.

Trans Siberian Orchestra - Christmas Eve/Sarajevo

This is the most rocking of all Christmas songs in my opinion. It has everything - Guitars, Synthesizers, Drums & wicked dynamics! It is a very rock take on the old classic, "Carol of the Bells."

Elvis - Blue Christmas

When I was young, my favorite memory was of my mother's vinyl album of Elvis singing Christmas songs. Blue Christmas was the one I always played over & over again & again... even with the needle scratch sounds. This is the live version from 1968...

John Lennon - Happy Xmas (War is Over)

This. This is my end-all-be-all, hands down, all time favorite Christmas song. I can't even exactly pinpoint the when or the why, all I know is that it has always felt like everything Christmas should embody.
