KISS106 in the Classroom!

Having visitors or speakers make any kids day!

Today, I had the opportunity to go to McCutchanville Elementary to talk about what I do in the world of radio! McCutchanville Elementary has a broadcast team and a pretty awesome media classroom! The students do daily broadcasts on the weather, games, or anything pertaining to the school day. The students even have a real green screen and lights with different filters! It doesn't get more official than that.

Seeing the kids excited to have a visitor was priceless, several personalities in one classroom, that's for sure! It melts my heart seeing kids have a love for broadcast whether it's radio or TV. I never knew what I wanted to do growing up so hearing these kids get excited about their future and already have goals, amazes me.

I was able to give the kids pointers, answer all their questions, and of course laugh with them and tell them it's okay to mess up because I do daily! All in all, it was a great experience!
