And it's kind of like a train wreck, you just can't look away

Some kids slip their crushes little "check yes or no" notes, others make them really sappy youtube videos, this kid is the latter of the two. I have to say some things I found wrong with this situation is for one his youtube user name is "THasselhoff" he also has a really rad button down shirt with palm trees on it, and he is out in nature a lot.  I believe he's trying to give off the "I'm sensitive" vibe.  Which he does quite nicely.  However in this case, all I can think about is how awkward Emily had to have felt watching this and it made me think of one of my favorite quotes from the movie Easy A where Emma Stone says:

"Whatever happened to chivalry? Does it only exist in 80's movies? I want John Cusack holding a boombox outside my window. I wanna ride off on a lawnmower with Patrick Dempsey. I want Jake from Sixteen Candles waiting outside the church for me. I want Judd Nelson thrusting his fist into the air because he knows he got me. Just once I want my life to be like an 80's movie, preferably one with a really awesome musical number for no apparent reason. But no, no, John Hughes did not direct my life."

Well unfortunately for Emily (The girl who this video is dedicated to) John Hughes did not direct her life either.  No boombox wielding hotties, just a poorly covered Bryan Adams song.

While I get it, it's a sweet gesture, this kid is really putting himself out there, but did he really have to do it with one of the sappiest songs ever? He should have spiced it p a little bit and done a rendition of 'Baby Got Back'  or maybe 'Call Me Maybe' (like we haven't ever seen a 'Call Me Maybe' cover before...).  Anyways this kid put himself out there, and then uploaded it onto the internet. At the end of the video I kind of wanted to high five him for his courage, and hopefully Emily liked it and the poor guy didn't embarrass the crap out of himself.  Best of luck you two love birds!
