It's become tradition in Evansville to kick off Summer with the Franklin Street Bazaar. The bazaar typically runs Saturdays from May/June to August, but this year the bazaar will run a bit differently.

We've finally gotten the official start date of the Franklin Street Bazaar, and it's finally starting July 4th! It will then run every Saturday through August 29th per the Franklin Street Bazaar events pages.  You can follow along by clicking here so you don't miss a date.

Recently Market Master Tom Leggett  sat down with Ange Humphrey on Local Lifestyles, and shared ways the market will be a bit different this year. For instance they will be spacing the vendors out a bit more to allow for social distancing, and they won't have live music. You can watch the full interview with Tom, and hear more about what other changes we can expect to see by clicking here.

As much as it saddens me to see how many fun Summer events have been cancelled around the Tri-State, I'm glad to know that at least one I look forward to every year will be back.  My favorite thing about the bazaar is eating the delicious food, scoring some fresh produce, and the flowers! Nothing beats the beautiful flowers you can buy at the Franklin Street Bazaar.   Be sure to follow along with the Franklin Street Bazaar Facebook page, so you don't miss any updates.
