Today, Kentucky State Police initiated the largest one-day drug roundup in state history. ‘Operation Black Friday' netted 479 individuals arrested on 774 charges.

All KSP Posts, local law enforcement, ATF, DEA and U.S. Marshalls Service participated in the arrests.

According to KSP Commissioner Rodney Brewer the operation was the result of tips from the public.

Two of the arrests were made in Henderson County and seven were in Union County.
