Evansville’s beloved West Side Nut Club Fall Festival wrapped up its 103rd year with record-breaking excitement, drawing massive crowds and an incredible $2,000,070 Half Pot raffle prize—making it the number one raffle in the United States! The annual festival, recently voted the best fall festival in America, continues to be a highlight for locals and visitors alike. With over 130 non-profits involved, this week-long event is more than just fun; it’s a celebration of community and giving back.

Organizers Address Rumors

As the festival wound down, some social media rumors began circulating about the fairness and legitimacy of the Half Pot raffle. Organizers were quick to respond, reassuring the community that the raffle is conducted strictly according to Indiana law and is overseen by the Indiana Gaming Commission. That can be fact-checked with the Gaming Commission (015530).

Monumental Announcement

“Remember the game, six degrees to Kevin Bacon? As the WSNC Publicity Chair, I challenge everyone in the greater Evansville area to play ‘1 degree to WSNC Half Pot.’ In one way or another, the proceeds from the half pot and our Fall Festival have benefited you, your children, your family, and/or your community,” said WSNC Publicity Chair Brandon McClish. “If you have questions about our legitimacy, contact Indiana Gaming Commission and please reach out directly—we’d be thrilled to share our running totals of over $9 million donated back to our community!”
