Exciting $71.5 Million Development Announced for Warrick County Indiana
Get ready to experience a new level of living in Warrick County! The Dominion, a mixed-use development, is set to rise at the intersection of State Road 66 and Grimm Road, along the Warrick Wellness Trail and near the future Ohio Township Park. This exciting project is the first in the Evansville Region to receive funding from the READI 2.0 program.
What to Expect
The Dominion is set to become a vibrant community hub. This $71.5 million live-work-play development aims to enhance the quality of life for residents in Southern Indiana by providing modern amenities and a variety of spaces for living, working, and recreation.
The Dominion will feature a variety of amenities, including:
- 150 market-rate apartments: Enjoy modern, comfortable living in a prime location.
- A five-story commercial building: Find retail shops, restaurants, and other businesses right at your doorstep.
- A public plaza: Gather with friends and family for community events and activities.
A Boost to the Local Economy
This development is expected to have a significant impact on the local economy. It will create jobs, attract new businesses, and increase property values. Plus, it will enhance the area's appeal to residents and visitors alike.
Governor Holcomb expressed his enthusiasm for the project, saying, “Indiana, in partnership with our regions statewide, is making unprecedented investments in our local communities to improve the lives of Hoosiers today and tomorrow.” He highlighted the importance of developments like The Dominion in creating new, centrally located community destinations that offer opportunities for living, working, studying, playing, and staying.
A Collaborative Effort
The Dominion is a result of a partnership between the Evansville Regional Economic Partnership (E-REP), the Southwest Indiana Regional Development Authority (RDA), and the Indiana Economic Development Corporation (IEDC).
Stay Tuned for More Updates
Construction is expected to begin in September 2025, and the first phase of the project is scheduled to be completed in summer 2027. As The Dominion prepares to break ground, the future looks bright for Warrick County and the greater Evansville region, promising new opportunities for growth, connection, and community.
