If you grew up in Evansville, chances are you’ve sipped on an ice-cold SKI. The citrus soda has built a loyal following, especially on the West Side, where it’s considered a local favorite and almost a part of the city’s identity. Now, SKI fans have a new way to show off their love for the drink with the launch of the SKI Ambassador Program at the University of Southern Indiana (USI) and Western Kentucky University (WKU).

What is the SKI Ambassador Program

The SKI Ambassador Program is looking for students who are passionate about the drink and want to help spread the citrus love across their campuses. Ambassadors get to be the face of the brand at student events, in classrooms, and on social media, while connecting with other fans who share the same enthusiasm.

Why SKI is an Evansville Favorite

Although SKI wasn’t created in Evansville, it has become woven into the culture of the city. From gas stations to family gatherings, SKI is often considered an “Evansville thing.” Its lemon-orange flavor makes it stand out, and its longtime presence in the area has helped cement its place in local tradition.

Get Involved

If you think you have what it takes to be a SKI superfan and represent the brand on your campus, now is your chance. Applications are available until October 1, and spots are limited. Don’t miss the opportunity to join a program that celebrates one of the Tri-State’s favorite drinks.
