Red Lobster Closes 23 More Locations Including Indiana – What About Evansville?
The company filed for bankruptcy in May, and restaurants across 15 states will close at the end of August 2024.
Fortress of Lobster
Okay, that is not a name change for Red Lobster, although it has a super ring to it. Red Lobster is now owned by Fortress Credit Corp. The company is scaling back on the number of restaurants based on sales performance. By the end of August, there will be around 500 Red Lobster restaurants in business. In 2023, Red Lobster had 650 stores, so that quite a reduction.
Red Lobster at Home
Perhaps we can create our own seafood night with the 'Red Lobster at Home' collection available at most grocery stores. I have actually made the Cheddar Bay biscuits from the mix and they are so good. I haven't tried the frozen kind or the fish. I really want their mashed potatoes!
