Presley Hampton, representing Jackson County, officially stepped into the spotlight on Sunday, January 4, 2026, when she was crowned the 67th Miss Indiana State Fair at the Indiana State Fairgrounds and Event Center inside the iconic Corteva Coliseum. Surrounded by family, friends, and fellow contestants from all corners of the state, Hampton earned the title after standing out in a highly competitive field of young women representing communities across Indiana.
What Comes Next For Miss Indiana State Fair 2026
As Miss Indiana State Fair 2026, Hampton is gearing up for a busy and exciting summer. She’ll travel an estimated 10,000 miles during June and July, visiting around 50 counties and connecting with Hoosiers statewide. Along the way, she’ll champion everything the Indiana State Fair stands for – celebrating agriculture, supporting youth development, encouraging education, and reminding us all why the Fair is such a cherished Indiana tradition.
Hampton is currently a Purdue University student majoring in Marketing and holds the prestigious title of Trustee Scholar. She already has her sights set on the future, with plans to continue her education at the Fashion Institute of Technology. Her goal? A career in sales and brand building within the formalwear industry – a dream that’s been years in the making.
How 4-H Shaped Presley Hampton’s Path
A proud 10-year 4-H member, Hampton’s roots run deep in Indiana agriculture and youth programs. She’s earned Champion, Grand Champion, and State Fair honors in 4-H Sewing and Fashion Revue, experiences that led to a designer assistant internship with a leading formalwear brand. She now gives back by mentoring Jackson County 4-H members, helping the next generation find their footing.
Leadership has always come naturally to Hampton. She graduated high school with High Honors, served as Class President, Booster Club President, and Vice President of the National Honor Society, and even launched a student-led spirit wear boutique at Brownstown Central High School — giving her classmates real-world business experience.
Meet The 2026 Indiana State Fair Queen’s Court
Joining Hampton on this year’s Indiana State Fair Queen’s Court were:
- 1st Runner Up: Kylie Cox (Tippecanoe County)
- 2nd Runner Up: Addison Buckley (Hancock County)
- 3rd Runner Up: Lexi Wilhoite (Vermillion County)
- 4th Runner Up: Gretchen Link (Jay County)
The rest of the Top 10 finalists represented Boone, Clinton, Wabash, Vanderburgh, and Howard counties, while Addie Morris of Johnson County was honored with the title of Miss Congeniality.

With her mix of agriculture roots, academic achievement, leadership, and business savvy, Presley Hampton truly embodies the spirit of the Indiana State Fair – and she’s just getting started.
