This week's adoptable pet from It Takes a Village is REESE, a playful one-and-a-half-year-old Labrador Retriever mix who is ready to find a forever home.

REESE is fully housebroken, which is great considering she is an indoor dog. She is leashed trained and well-behaved on walks, and she knows a few simple commands too. REESE gets along great with kids and other dogs. She seems like the perfect furbaby, doesn't she?

REESE is a perfect blend of playfulness and affection, and she’s looking for a loving home where she can share her joy and cuddles with her new family. Come meet this beautiful girl and see for yourself why REESE is so special. Fill out an online adoption application and then schedule a time to come and meet her.

All the animals at It Takes a Village are examined by a veterinarian, given age-appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, microchipped, spayed or neutered, heartworm tested, and treated if necessary.

If our pet of the week isn’t the right fit for your home, please visit It Takes a Village to see the other rescues that need to get fostered and adopted. And don't forget about their RENT A DOG Program. A quick fill form and copy of your photo ID will allow you time out with one of ITV's vetted shelter dogs. These day dates are great for the rescues - it gets them some exercise and new information to help us get them adopted. It’s been a big hit- so don’t miss out!
