First Wave of Indiana State Fair FREE Concerts Includes Rock, R&B, Country, and More!

Your paid admission into the Indiana State Fair allows you to see some really amazing musicians. This year's lineup (which will continue to grow over the coming weeks)  is already really impressive. Keep scrolling to see the first five acts announced for this year's fair.

Three Dog Night | Friday, August 2nd

This legendary pop-rock band dominated the charts between 1969 and 1974, with no other group having more top 10 hits. Marking nearly 50 years on the road, Three Dog Night continues to captivate audiences with boundary-breaking sounds and nostalgic music from their beginning.

Gladys Knight | Sunday, August 4th

As both a solo singer and a group musician, Gladys Knight has solidified herself as an icon of the music industry. Known as the “Empress of Soul” Knight has received numerous awards and accolades for her contributions to the R&B and Soul genres.

Dogstar | Thursday, August 8th

Dogstar is an American Alternative rock band that was formed in Los Angeles in 1991. The band features guitarist/vocalist Bret Domrose, drummer Robert Mailhouse and bassist Keanu Reeves.

Bell Biv Devoe | Friday, August 9th

Former New Edition members Ricky Bell, Michael Bivens, and Ronnie Devoe formed their own group, Bell Biv DeVoe, in 1989. Their music combines elements of soul, R&B , and hip hop, with their multi-platinum album Poison having a song reaching number 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1990.

Gary Allan | Friday, August 16th

Gary Allan is a Nashville-based country music singer who has had three certified platinum albums, and three certified gold albums. Two albums reached the top two spots on the U.S. Billboard Top Country Albums.

The 2024 fair runs from August 2-18 (Closed Mondays) at the Indiana State Fairgrounds.

The theme for this year's fair is THE ART & NATURE OF FUN, which will be activated through a celebration of art and nature and promises to provide an unforgettable experience for every guest.
