11 Things Hoosiers Should NEVER Buy at a Yard Sale
Warmer weather signals the start of yard sale season. You can get some really good deals on slightly loved items, but there are some that you should just say no to.
Unusual or Unusable?
There is a fine line between finding a unique treasure and buying something that is just junk. For instance, old dishes can be worth a lot, but there are plenty of knock-offs. If you splurge and then the dishes are not really worth anything, they might not be good to actually use either.
Would You Sell It?
That's probably the first question you should ask yourself before you buy that questionable item at a yard sale. In my opinion, there is no such thing as a slightly used bathing suit or bra.
Obviously, if you are drawn to someone else's treasure it doesn't really matter if it has a monetary value. However, the experts do have a list of items that we should stay away from at yard sales. These would be items that you wouldn't want to list for sale either.
Bonus Tip:
Parking problems: With more people coming into the neighborhood, there may be a shortage of parking spaces. This can lead to people parking in front of other people's homes, blocking driveways, or parking in no-parking zones.
