Some might say that this is, in fact, the most wonderful time of the year – just with fewer ornaments and a lot more Thin Mints. Girl Scout Cookie season has officially arrived in Southwest Indiana, and you don’t want to miss out on those sweet treats!

What To Know If You Pre-Ordered Cookies

If you pre-ordered cookies from the Girl Scouts of Southwest Indiana, you should be contacted soon to set up delivery. Keep in mind that these troops are dealing with hundreds and hundreds of boxes, so be patient. And if you didn’t pre-order? No worries at all. You’re definitely not out of luck, because cookie booths are about to pop up all over Evansville and the surrounding area.

Why Buying Girl Scout Cookies Matters

Of course, buying Girl Scout cookies is about more than just satisfying a sweet tooth, although that’s a pretty great perk. Every box you buy helps local Girl Scouts gain valuable skills, go on adventures, and explore new opportunities throughout the year. The cookie program encourages girls to discover their interests, build confidence, and take action on issues that matter to them – all while learning leadership, goal-setting, and teamwork.
