City of Evansville Rolls Out Free Summer Events Focused on Safety and Community
Summer is here, and Evansville is turning up the fun while keeping families safe and connected! Mayor Stephanie Terry just kicked off the City’s 2025 Safe Summer Initiatives, a season-long celebration packed with free activities designed to bring neighborhoods together, support our youth, and create stronger, safer communities.
What is Evansville’s Safe Summer All About?
We’re not just planning events, we’re creating safer neighborhoods. When young people have access to positive spaces and strong role models, it reduces the risk of violence, isolation, and hopelessness. Safe Summer is about prevention, connection, and showing that in Evansville, every child matters and every neighborhood counts. ~ Mayor Terry
