Just like with DI, the DII tournament begins with 64 teams and is single-elimination. One key difference lies in the final stages of the competition. While the DI tournament spreads its Sweet 16, Elite 8, and Final Four games across multiple cities, the DII Elite Eight, semifinals, and championship games all take place in one location. This means that fans attending the event in Evansville will experience the climactic conclusion of the tournament firsthand.
