I'm tempted to write a few lines about the weather we've had, and the forecast for the coming weeks and months, but if you're from Southern Indiana, you know the weather is anything but predictable. Mother Nature does what she wants down here and we are seemingly at her mercy. There is no denying that the days are getting shorter and the temperatures are getting colder, and it's time to start thinking about indoor activities for you and your family.

Mom...Dad...I'm Bored!
Southern Indiana students will soon have several weeks off for Christmas breaks, and they will quickly get bored at home. Luckily there are plenty of places to go and things for young people to do. You might assume that I am referring to little kid stuff, but you would be wrong. Teenagers, even those who drive, need to stay active this time of year - you know what they say about idle hands, right? It's also good for us big (old) kids to play sometimes and try to stay young at heart.

We racked our brains to come up with these ideas, and I am sure we have left some out, but this should be a great resource, a checklist if you will, of things to do when it's too cold to play outside.
