Indiana Photographer Captures Amazing Winter Storm Images [GALLERY]
While I think most all of us can agree that Winter Storm Blair has been a major headache, I think we can also agree that if you look in the right places, it left a lot of beauty behind.
Photographers' eyes are ALWAYS looking in the right places because they can see beauty where many of us cannot. Evansville's Tawney Converse is one such shutterbug who hit the jackpot and has now shared her art with the rest of us. Most of us wouldn't consider the winter storm a "jackpot," but for someone, like Tawney, who declared--at seven years old--that she was "going to take so many pictures so that one day, someone can look back at my memories and feel that same feeling," nearly everything in view is a jackpot. I'm sure it's no surprise that autumn was a golden opportunity. Just look at these angles:
In 2004, Tawney's parents gave her her first Polaroid camera which she still has today. A couple of years later, in 2006, when she was 15, they moved to Evansville where those beautiful old homes downtown made her feel like she'd gone back in time.
While her Facebook page, Mellow Moon Photography, is replete with any number of small galleries showcasing her wonderful work, Tawney says that portraits are her main focus now. If you've already visited her page, you've seen quite a few. You've also seen this:
Talk about taking a step back in time; that could be from 1925. Well, there's more that beautiful image came from, and I am happy to showcase the work of Mellow Moon Photography's Tawney Converse right here ⬇️
