Can you even handle the cuteness?! The Nashville Zoo shared photos and videos of their brand new Sumatran Tiger cubs, and I just want to get in their little crib with them a roll around with their fluffy squishy selves! I wonder what Tiger "kitten breath" smells like.

Even as tiny as they are, they're still trying to be 'ferocious!' We call those "spicy kitties." Their meows and hisses are so quiet you can barely hear them, but those faces say it all. And look at these precious paws! Those claws though...

They just had their three-week checkup last Thursday and their veterinarians shared that they all weigh in at about six pounds each. The team also made sure the cubs were microchipped as a way to monitor their health and ongoing growth.  It also helps to tell them apart. When they are this little, it's tricky to know which cub is which as they continue to help their mama, Anne, take care of them.

She is doing a wonderful job! For the past few weeks, she has been nursing the precious kitties and bonding with them in their private den away from any disturbances. The Nashville Zoo shared "Anne (mom) chooses to participate in her own care and is trained to go into another room to enjoy some additional snacks while our veterinary team performs these check-ups. The cubs are nearly three weeks old and will continue to nurse and bond with Anne in the privacy of their indoor den."

Once the cubs are big enough, the zoo plans to let them explore the Sumatran Tiger exhibit so folks can see them in all of their cubby cuteness. I can't wait to find out what they will be named. I vote for Eenie, Meanie, and Miney Moe!

Be sure to follow Nashville Zoo on Facebook for updates on these little sweeties!
