On April 29th, the Hawkinson family's lives changed forever. What began as a routine eye doctor appointment quickly turned into every parent's worst nightmare when their sweet 8-year-old son, Konnor, was diagnosed with a massive brain tumor. The Daviess County, Kentucky, community is rallying to help the family during this difficult time.

THE DEVASTATING DIAGNOSIS

Katelyn and Nick Hawkinson are living every parent’s worst nightmare.

What began as a routine eye doctor visit for their 8-year-old son, Konnor, quickly turned into something unimaginable. The doctor noticed something concerning and immediately referred the family to Norton Children’s Hospital in Louisville. There, they received the heartbreaking news that Konnor has a brain tumor.

In an instant, their world came to a screeching halt.

"Konnor is scheduled for surgery on Wednesday, May 7th, 2025, and we are asking for all the prayers and positive thoughts you can send our way. Your support means everything to us during this difficult time.", Katelyn shared
