Celebrate John Prine’s Legacy With His Band Reunion Concert in Kentucky
It was the summer of 2018 when John Prine stepped onto the stage of a sold out crowd at Beaver Dam Amphitheatre in Ohio County, Kentucky. Virtually everyone involved with that venue credits that particular concert- an immensely magical night- with truly putting The DAM on the map. That concert, in terms of attendance, still ranks inside the Top 5 of the shows there all-time.

Prine, of course, is no longer with us. The legendary singer-songwriter passed away in early April of 2020. The 73-year-old was a victim of the initial strain of COVID-19. However, his legacy endures and it will be celebrated Labor Day Weekend at The DAM.
On Saturday, August 30th, John Prine's band is reuniting for an evening called JOHN PRINE: Songs & Souvenirs with the John Prine Band. That band consists of Jason Wilber, Dave Jacques, Kenneth Blevins, and Fats Kaplin. The Beaver Dam Amphitheatre's website says, "If you're a Prine fan, you'll love hearing them share memories of their beloved, one-of-a-kind friend and boss, along with many of John’s classic songs."
Tickets, which start at $34.50 (plus taxes and fees), are available at the Beaver Dam Amphitheatre's website.
