If you’ve lived in Illinois your whole life like I have, you’ve probably heard about Volo Museum a time or two and thought, “That’s the place with all the cool cars and movie memorabilia, right?” Guilty as charged. But what I never realized until today is that Volo Museum is also considered one of Illinois’ most haunted destinations.

History of Volo Museum

Volo Museum is actually way more than just a museum filled with historical cars, memorabilia, and mechanical marvels. It's a 75-acre family attraction that features several different exhibits like Jurassic Gardens and The Titanic Experience, an antique mall, trolley, train and bus tours, and so much more. Plus, it sits on the land of a former dairy farm that is 175 years old!

While Volo Museum's buildings and barns have been renovated and beautifully maintained over the years, old buildings tend to have many spooky stories to share...and spirits that have never left.
