
Country Superstar Brings Big Voice to Illinois for Free August Concert
Country fans are in for a treat because the 2025 Illinois State Fair has just announced a free Grandstand concert.
Free Entertainment Across the Illinois State Fairgrounds
According to a press release from the Illinois State Fair (August 7-17), this year will be stacked with free events and nightly concerts on the Grand Central Stage, including these favorites:
- Thursday, August 7: Everclear
- Tuesday, August 12: Stephen Wilson, Jr.
- Friday, August 15: The Frontmen
- Sunday, August 17: Twista
There are also other favorites, such as the Big Top Adventures circus shows, harness racing, and a pickleball tournament on August 16.
Randy Houser Headlines Free Grandstand Concert
It will be an unforgettable night for fans of great country music at the Illinois State Fair with Randy Houser performing hits like "Runnin' Outta Moonlight" and "Like a Cowboy" at the Grandstand for a free concert.
This will take place on Monday, August 11, and no ticket will be required; simply show up and pass through security to enjoy the powerhouse vocals of Randy Houser.
Fans may also recognize Randy from his acting roles in Killers of the Flower Moon and The Hill.
A Gift to Illinois Fairgoers
In a press release, Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker called the concert a celebration of the state's spirit, and Illinois Ag Director Jerry Costello II called the event "a world-class show at no cost."
