Warrick County, located in Southern Indiana has broken ground on an all-new 20-acre park and greenspace thanks in part to funding from the Indiana Regional Economic Acceleration and Development Initiative (READI).

What Is READI and How Does It Help Indiana?

The now $1.25 billion READI program began in 2021 and was established by Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb. The program is designed to help "shovel-ready" projects and programs across Indiana that will help improve communities and quality of life, as well as attract people to the area.

$15 Million Park Project Begins in Warrick County

The READI program has contributed $3million to the $15 million park project planned in Warrick County. The project, known as Ohio Township Park, will encompass 20 acres of land near Newburgh, Indiana.
