Are These the Most Underrated Candies of All Time?
For some, these candies fly under the radar; however, to others, they are pure gold.
There are certain candies on the market that receive more attention than others. A few examples of those would be M&M's, Snickers, Starburst, Kit-Kat, Reeses Peanut Butter Cups, and Twix. Of course, there are quite a few others that are wildly popular that I'm sure you can think of. These candies have been staples among candy lovers for decades. That being said, not all candy is created equal.
While you have some of those bigger names on the market, there are a lot of other types of candies that fly under the radar. Maybe they don't pop up in commercials enough, or perhaps, they aren't produced by a major candy maker like Hershey's or Mars, but they still deserve a special place on the shelf at the convenience store because of how good they are. Let me give you an example.

My favorite candy of all time is Sixlets. Ever since I was a kid, I have loved Sixlets. I'm sure that some would argue with this statement, but they are WAY better than M&M's. Sorry, not sorry. These delicious little round bites of candy-coated, malt-flavored chocolatey candies have been around for over sixty years now. It used to be, you could go to any gas station or store and find tubes or bags of Sixlets in the candy aisle. Nowadays, they are virtually impossible to find. Pretty much the only time you can find Sixlets on the shelves anymore is around Christmas, Valentine's Day, and Easter when they release the holiday packaging. Every time I do spot them on the shelf, though, I make it a point to buy a few packages.
That's just one example of an underrated candy that deserves more love than it gets. In that vein, we took to Facebook to ask you what you think the most underrated candy of all time is. Check them out in the gallery below. Perhaps it might take you down memory lane with a candy you forgot all about, or give you something new to try the next time you are craving a sweet treat.
