Kentuckians, do you have very nosey neighbors? Maybe you ARE the nosey neighbor.

We've all seen movies or television shows where the main characters have extremely nosey neighbors. My fiancee and I were just watching a movie last night with a nosey neighbor in it and she was so annoyed as if she were the neighbor that has to deal with it. Even if you personally don't have neighbors that like to stick their noses in your business, any time you see people like that on a show, you have a few choice words for them that you either say out loud or at least think about saying.

It's no secret that nosey neighbors aren't just in the movies. You can find them everywhere. At times, we have all been guilty of it too. How many times have you been in your backyard, heard your neighbors having an intense conversation, possibly even a big argument, and you were so tempted to inch a little closer to the fence to hear the full tea? If you've been there before, you are indeed guilty of being a nosey neighbor. All Star Home was curious how nosey neighbors are in each state, and the results are quite interesting...especially when it comes to Kentucky. Here's what they said about their study:

From unannounced visits to lingering eyes, many people have experienced the struggle of nosy neighbors. For some, the people next door play a large role in Americans’ happiness at home, so we set out to find just how common nosy neighbors are across the country.

We surveyed Americans by state to find which parts of the U.S. are more inundated with neighbors who don’t understand boundaries and which are full of neighbors who offer just the right amount of space.

As it turns out, Kentucky must play a big role in that data. The Commonwealth came in as the state with the third most nosey neighbors. Kentucky has a "Nosiness Score" of 85.2. All Star Home zoomed in a little more on this study by also breaking down the U.S. cities with the nosiest neighbors. As it turns out, Louisville came in at number two.

In second is Louisville, KY, with a score of 92.2 out of 100. Residents of the city were among the most likely to experience their neighbors staring at them from afar. Nosy neighbors are common in the city, as 1 in 6 people say their neighbor has snooped through their mail or packages.

So, the question here is this: are you the person who has the nosey neighbor, or are you the nosey neighbor? If you're the latter, you might want to try minding your own business a little more often because your neighbor is on to you.
