Every Kentucky Pizza Joint Barstool Sports’ Dave Portnoy Has Ranked
Kentucky is home to several great pizza joints, some of which have been featured on Barstool Sports' web series, called "One Bite," but which ones are the highest rated?
"One bite. Everyone knows the rules."
For those who don't know, Dave Portnoy, founder of Barstool Sports, once told a friend of his, years ago, that he could eat pizza every day. Just to back up what he said, he began doing just that. He ate pizza every day and posted video reviews about each one. His shtick is to only take one bite and give his honest opinion about the pizza, followed by a numbered rating. As the years went by, this video review show got bigger and bigger. It has blossomed into a show called One Bite with Davey Pageviews, he's even got an accompanying app, and most recently his own line of frozen pizzas that are actually really good.
So, Dave travels a lot for work, and when he is out he tries out as many local pizza shops in the area as possible. He has been doing this all over the country for years, including right here in Kentucky. Whether he is in the state for a football game, racing event, or whatever, he always tries out a new local pizza joint and gives a review. But which Kentucky pizzas were the best reviewed? Let's find out!
Kentucky's Best Pizza Joints According To Barstool Sports' Dave Portnoy
So, Dave has visited several pizza joints in Kentucky throughout the years. However, he only seems to visit the two biggest cities in the state, Lexington and Louisville. That being said, there are a lot of other local pizza joints all throughout Kentucky that he should definitely try if he makes his way outside of those two cities. If you're like me and love a good locally-owned pizza, you might want to give these places a try, based on Dave's recommendations the next time you are in these areas.
According to One Bite Pizza Rankings, these are all of the Indiana pizza joints that Dave Portnoy has visited thus far, along with how he ranked them, and where they rank on a national level out of 1041 pizza joints he has visited across the country. Shockingly enough, Kentucky is home to a rare 0.0 rating from Portnoy. That being said, I did find a couple of Indiana pizza joints that Dave shot a video for that weren't on the list, so those will not have national rankings. Without any further ado, here are all of the Kentucky pizza joints that Dave has sampled.
