According to the Salvation Army of Evansville, Toy Town is designed for families experiencing hardships that make it difficult to provide gifts or food for family gatherings during Christmas. Last year, The Salvation Army, in partnership with Southwestern Indiana Toys for Tots, served over 1,000 families and more than 2,700 children in the greater Evansville area.

The Salvation Army annually helps more than 23 million Americans overcome poverty, addiction, and economic hardships through a range of social services. However, it does take an "army" to accomplish that mission, and Toy Town is no different. For businesses, groups, or individuals wanting to get involved, the Salvation Army of Evansville is in need of volunteers to effectively care for all who need assistance. You can sign up to volunteer by clicking HERE.

“In the spirit of joy and giving, our annual Toy Town program is more than an event. It’s a celebration of others, where smiles light up the season and every gift carries the magic of Christ’s love,” said Captain Brandon Lewis, Corps Officer & Southwest Indiana Area Coordinator for The Salvation Army. “We are once again excited to fill hearts and homes with the enchanting spirit of Christmas!”
