If you're a fan of frozen custard and steak burgers and live in Illinois, you'll be happy to learn that a giant that specializes in both is bringing two locations to the state and neither is in Chicago either.

Nation's Restaurant News is reporting that Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers has struck a deal for 4 franchises in 21 different locations and 2 of those are in Illinois. They say there's a deal for "restaurant venues in Rock Island and Knox County, Illinois".

Those 2 Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers coming to Illinois will join these locations as their presence in the state is growing:

• East Peoria, East Peoria (IL)

• Frankfort, Frankfort (IL)
• Glendale Heights, Glendale Heights (IL)
• Homewood, Homewood (IL)
• Lake Zurich, Lake Zurich (IL)
• Machesney Park, Machesney Park
• Marion, Marion (IL)
• Mattoon, Mattoon (IL)

There's no opening date given on when these 2 new Illinois locations will be ready for prime time, but you'd have to imagine that 2025 would be a possibility depending on construction and site approvals, etc.
