When you live in Illinois, it's likely there are woods nearby and if there are woods nearby, your yard can be an interstate highway of wildlife which is what one Illinois backyard cam recently captured.

I love this short but sweet backyard security camera video that Gavin Glass just shared on YouTube. Here's how he describes what you'll witness:

"This video features a variety of different wildlife moving along the fence line in my backyard over the course of a week. Various species featured in this video are: Whitetail Deer, Red Fox, Opossum, Raccoon, Rabbit, and even a few feral cats. Most of the action takes place at night, but there are a few daytime clips as well. All of the species featured in this clip are native to Illinois."

Let the animal parade begin...

I haven't counted, but the place we rented in the country part of Illinois for a year or two had deer, possums, raccoons and just about every type of wildlife critter imaginable. It was like the Illinois version of Jungle Book and we wouldn't want it any other way.
