When it comes to roadside meals there is one place that is worth a stop and a meal.

Star 66 Cafe in Springfield gets a lot of love for being one of the best to stop and grab a meal. In fact, the restaurant makes the top 10 as one of the country's best truck stops for a meal.

Love Food who came up with the list, says this 24/7 restaurant attached to a gas station is popular with truckers thanks to its extensive all-day breakfast menu, reasonable prices, and friendly service.

I am sure going to a truck stop restaurant and eating a home-cooked meal is an experience, but I have to admit I have never done that. I have eaten at mom-and-pop shops, but when we travel we usually stop at a major chain restaurant or something local.

Missouri on the List

A Missouri stop also made the list (a like further down): at #40, the Heartless Express in Popular Bluff is a must-stop for all truckers and drivers. The full list makes me want to go on a serious road trip to try all of these places.
