Fall is Officially Here

It's the most wonderful time of the year! No, not Christmas time, it's fall! Fall officially started on September 22nd, and the weather to kick off fall has so far, not disappointed! I think the reason so many enjoy the fall season so much, is because the hot sweaty weather of summertime is on the out, and fall comes with so many fun festivities. You can enjoy Halloween-themed events, haunted houses, pumpkin patches, corn mazes, and so much more. It's truly the best season. If you enjoy pumpkin patches, there's one fall event that involves a train ride and picking out the perfect pumpkin.

The Pumpkin Patch Express

Grab your best flannel, and your favorite pumpkin-flavored beverage and aboard the Pumpkin Patch Express. Every year the Ohio River Scenic Railway hosts all kinds of themed events, and for the Halloween season, they're hosting the Pumpkin Patch Express.

Here is what the Ohio River Scenic Railway's Website says about the Pumpkin Patch Express and what to expect:

Take a relaxing ride to the pumpkin patch and have fun with your children, family, or friends - searching for the perfect Jack-o-Lantern. Then bring it aboard the train to decorate with stickers on your return trip. *Pumpkins and stickers may be purchased at our pumpkin patch, starting at $5. Rides will depart most Saturdays and Sundays in October. The train will stop at the patch for approximately 30 minutes. Celebrate autumn with your children, friends, and family aboard the Pumpkin Patch Express!
