The June sky has been busy for the past two weeks having both a solar and lunar moon.  Tonight prepare yourself to watch the Full Strawberry Moon.

BEGINNING & END OF SEASONS

The Strawberry Moon is the last supermoon of springtime and the first full moon of the summer.  This moon apparently has a big job marking both the end and the beginning of seasons.  It was actually named by the Native Americans for a season of gathering strawberries.

SO CLOSE YOU CAN TOUCH IT

This vibrant moon will look like its' so close you could touch it but not really.  It will be a whole lot brighter and appear closer as it orbits the earth.
