How to Get a Gabe’s Tower Ornament for Your Christmas Tree

This is not a drill, People!  The little elves at Daviess County's Imagination Library have been very busy designing their annual Christmas ornament.  This year, they're selling Gabe's Tower ornaments!  And the most festive part about it??  It's two sided.  The tower's on the front of the ornament.

As you can see from the back, all proceeds from the proceeds from this year's Gabe's Tower ornaments benefit the Daviess County, Kentucky chapter of Imagination Library.  Imagination Library was founded by country music legend Dolly Parton way back in 1996.  Since that time, the program has expanded across the nation.  Daviess County joined Imagination Library as an affiliate in 2007 and continues to provide books to youngsters up to age of five in the area.

If you'd like to contribute to Imagination Library by purchasing a limited edition Gabe's Tower ornament, you can do so at a variety of locations around Owensboro. The ornaments are $15 a piece and are available at Willow Tree, Simply Chic, Crazy Me and Danhauer Drugs.

If you live out of town and would like a keepsake Gabe's ornament, you can contact Diane Bowers at 270-316-3612.  Shipping is $3 per ornament or up to three ornaments for $5.  You can submit payment via PayPal or through family or friends.  Payments MUST be received before ornaments are shipped.

This year's Gabe's Tower ornament continues Imagination Library's tradition of selling ornaments of popular Owensboro landmarks.  Previous ornaments paid tribute to the Owensboro Bridge, the Executive Inn, and various churches and other landmarks.
