There is a lot going on this weekend here in the tri-state – Celebrate German heritage and American pride at the 34th Annual Strassenfest and Volksfest, or go see Tom Constanen of the Grateful Dead perform at Doc’s – all happening Thursday.

Friday looks like a good night for cocktails, jazz, karaoke or Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, which is running all weekend long at Lincoln Amphitheater.

The YMCA 5k and 10K is Saturday morning, Ducks on the Ohio and the 8th Annual Bluegrass and Barbecue Concert at Angel Mounds happens Saturday afternoon, and the Evansville Museum is showing laser light shows all day Saturday and Sunday.

As always, there are plenty of local bands and acoustic artists performing in your favorite bars all over the area.

Have fun and be safe!
