Finding new ways to discipline your teenager is apparently all the rage these days. It started a few weeks ago when a father made headlines for shooting up his daughter's laptop after she posted something on Facebook that he didn't care much for. Now a dad in Florida has come up with an equally creative and less violent way to teach his son a lesson.

It seems that 7th grader Michael Bell Jr. enjoyed spending more time in class making his friends laugh then learning anything. Personally, I'm not sure what the issue is, class clowns can turn out to be productive members of society. Anyway, Michael's grades started to suffer because of his antics which caused him to fail 3 classes. This was enough for dad who decided humiliation was the best form of punishment.

I don't have an issue with this. For starters, it seems that dad stood with him the whole time so he didn't just abandon a 13 year old kid on a busy intersection. Secondly, Michael Jr. admits that he learned his lesson so theoretically the punishment worked. What do you think?
