It Takes a Village No-Kill Rescue is seeking a foster for a sweet deaf girl.  KC is a Pit Mix that's said to be good with kids and other dogs.  She does know a few signs as well. If you have the space, she needs a comfy place to crash for a bit until she finds her forever home.

And if you're worried about KC being deaf, according to DeafDogsRock.com, a website dedicated to rescuing deaf dogs, dogs that are deaf are not harder to train. On their website they say "training a deaf dog is not harder, just different."  They also have a lot of great resources if you're interested in learning more.

If you're interested in fostering KC, you can fill out a foster application, here.

Fostering is free, you just have to provide food. Vet bills and everything else is covered by the rescue. If you've never fostered before, I highly recommend it.  It's a great way to help out a pup in need.  I fostered a dog for the first time last year, and it was one of the most rewarding things I've ever done.  Tony has a great home now where he is so loved, and I still get to visit him, because it was my Mother In Law who fell in love with him so it's a win/win really!
