Young people are choosing Evansville as one of the most economically friendly places to live!

It looks like I did something right! I bought my first home right here in Evansville, Indiana, and apparently it's a trend that other millennial like myself are following.

According to realtor.com, the biggest years for millennial births were between 1989 and 1993 (hey, that's the year I was born!), and over the next five years we will our 30s, which is the prime age for home-buying.

I got a little head start - I bought my first home at 25, but still, my peers aren't too far behind. Another reason I might've been able to do this is because I planted my roots in good 'ol Evansville, which, according to realtor.com, is the most affordable place for millennials to live.

The realtor.com team set out to find which cities have most home buyers still in their 20s. According to the list, our very own Evansville takes the #1 spot.
