Evansville, IN Police Officer Will Ride a Bull For New 911 Gives Hope 8 Second Ride Fundraiser
Officer Taylor Merriss is becoming a well-known face and voice for the Evansville Police Department. She has been the Special Projects Coordinator for EPD for almost a year, and in that short amount of time, Taylor is making a positive impact on our community.

Woman on a Mission
I have gotten to know Taylor quite well over the past year, and let me tell you, when she sets her mind on something, get out of the way! She has taken on a huge responsibility of representing the Evansville Police Department in the public eye at a time when a lot of people don't want to hear from the police. Taylor has also jumped right into fundraising and supporting our local nonprofit organizations.

Boxing, Rappelling, and now The Rodeo
You might have noticed that Taylor did not fight in this year's Guns & Hoses Charity Boxing Event. That's because she is preparing for two very adventurous fundraisers. on April 30, 2022, Taylor will be one of the 130 rappellers for Granted's Over the Edge Event. She is also on the recruiting committee. Then in May, if she raises enough money, Taylor will ride a real bull in the River City Rodeo.
All of the money raised will go to 911 Gives Hope
