Evansville Hoses Hockey Hosting Benefit for Volunteer Firefighter March 18th
On February 7th, Lieutenant Chris Taylor was involved in an accident when the motorcycle he was riding was struck by another vehicle. As Taylor continues to recover from his injuries, his fellow firefighters are coming together to help cover his medical expenses, and they could use your help.
Taylor is a full time member of the Toyota Fire Department, and a volunteer Lieutenant with the German Township Fire Department who also works part time as a EMT with American Medical Response of Evansville.
To help Taylor and his family pay for the treatment he's received and continues to receive, the Evansville Hoses Hockey Team have decided to do what they do best. Play hockey. The team will host the Dayton Fire from Dayton, Ohio in a charity game at Swonder Ice Arena Saturday, March 18th. This will be the first time the two teams have faced off.
Tickets for the game will be available at the door for just $5.00. Doors will open at 6:00 p.m. with puck drop at 7:00 p.m.
