Evansville Police are asking for your help in locating the man involved in a standoff with officers Monday near Washington Middle and Bosse High Schools.

The Department released the following tweet at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday afternoon identifying 42-year-old Nolan Coleman as the man who they believe barricaded himself in a home on the 1400 block of Washington Avenue that caused both schools to be placed in "Secure Mode" until the situation was resolved.

According to comments made by Sergeant Jason Cullum to the Evansville Courier & Press, officers on arrived on the scene after it was believed Coleman locked himself in the home after an attempt to serve him a warrant. Upon further investigation, it is believed he escaped "through another exit before officers surrounded the house."

If you have any information on Coleman's current whereabouts, contact the EPD Tip Line at 812-435-6194, or the Vanderburgh County Prosecutor's anonymous WeTip Hotline at 1-800-78-CRIME.
