If you're like me, somewhere in your garage, or in the back of the closet, sits an old electronic device that at some point was replaced by a new or updated model that you're using now. For example, right now, in my garage there sits an old computer monitor. The kind that looks like the box-shaped TVs of days gone by. Not the thin, flat screen version you likely have at home or at the office. I couldn't tell you the last time we plugged it in and turned it on, but my guess would be somewhere around a decade and that is no exaggeration. I can tell you it made the trip from our old house to our new house over two years ago, not because we wanted to keep it, but because we didn't know what else to do with it. Thankfully, there's an option for us, and you, to take those electronics so they can go peacefully into that superstore in the sky.

C & I Electronics in Evansville will be hosting an Electronics Recycling event at their offices at 1700 North West Lafayette on the City's north side this Thursday and Friday (September 19th and 20th, 2019) from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and on Saturday (September 21st) from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
